How to View and Edit items in the Adapt Apps system

In this guide you will learn how to view items saved in Adapt Apps and how to edit the data. We will also go through how to access and utilise the Item Action Bar.
Managing items in Adapt Apps
Navigate to your Data View
From the dashboard, go to the Data Views section and select the Data View that shows your target items.
Note: Data Views are a way to see the data for a specific form. It allows you to quickly view and edit items submitted through that form.
Viewing an item
This page displays all items for the selected view and form. Click any row to preview its details on the right-hand side, or double-click to view the item full screen. Here you can view all the fields and information collected for this item.
Editing an item
To edit an item, simply update the field values you want to change and press Save at the bottom of your item. You can also push the item along a workflow by updating the timeline status at the top of the item.
Item Actions
At the top of the item you will see a row of icons. These are actions to review or share your item. These include:
Timeline Status: This shows the stage the item is currently on. You can manually push your item to another stage if your workflow permits.
Share Item: Copy a shareable link to this item to your clipboard. You can now share this item publicly with whoever needs it.
Item Comments: A comments thread that is linked to the current item. You can use this to communicate with other users that will be viewing this item.
Audit Trail: View system information like update and create details.
Refresh: Refresh the current item to see the latest changes.
Item Menu: Here you can find Delete to delete the current item.
Not seeing the items you're expecting?
Data Views show the items for a form according to conditions that are set. If you are not able to see the item's you're expecting, there may be conditions set by either the builder or yourself that are hiding it.
